OUR STORY
Our story begins in the backwoods of middle Georgia. For generations, our family has been cooking amazing dishes in nontraditional manners. From fish fries to chicken ques, whole hogs buried in the ground to goat on the fire-pit, we know how to eat good, no matter the format. About 25 years ago, our owner and CEO devised a marinade recipe, with help from his cousin and uncle, and since that time has honed and perfected it to a quality unseen in other jerky across the world. Steeped in smoking history, we’ve discovered the recipe for the world’s best jerky. From cooking on a concrete and firebrick pit smoker to the rotisserie smokers of today, we have found a way to create the best jerky on the planet for all. Family tradition, local wood and, of course, local GA beef sets us apart from any of the competitors. Liquid smoke and dehydrators are blasphemy around these parts. Local hickory and white oak bring the true smoke flavor, and our revolutionary marinade and process set us leagues ahead of the competition.
